A 17 year-old hit black ice last Friday morning and skidded into a school bus for the deaf and blind at 7:15 a.m. and was killed either by the impact or by the explosive fire that did engulfed the car and burned the bus. Thank God the children all got off. I believe he was wearing a seatbelt that kept them from pulling this young driver from the car and out from the flames. Another Enron and another Bush involved in huge profits for his reportedly making a speech given 80,000 in stock that became worth 14 million believe it or not. Its said this administration has changed the name of fetus to 'unborned baby'. I hope this is true but I have no confidence that we are about to stop killing babies just because it is wrong, politicians think they must let this murder go on in order to be elected, I say then, do not be elected. Think not that God will overlook this issue on judgment day, no excuse.

The waterworks on the hill with the obelus in front is now become a real burden in cost to the average resident. The water is not so high, about a dollar a day, it is the disposal costs that is so high. The Western Carolina sewer disposal can be $3 a day or three times as much as the water bill. Who is controlling this automatic taxation that eats our lunch for a all-time record high. Who though of such charges that creep upon us through these years as we slept and did not oppose. The telephone bill is loaded with creative charges with very creative names and excuses to tax and retax and more tax. The airlines have changed their rules making it hard now to use the frequent flier miles credit to fly. They tax us and more tax and rates are about to soar into the heavens higher than the Jets. They are trying to make back their losses all of a sudden on their passengers. They gouge their business customers knowing they will pay off while others stay home that fly for vacation pleasure.

The world is in turmoil and it is a time to seek the Lord and stay the course for eternity.

We're still waving the flag on our cars through the streets and it is great to see such blind patriotism but this is ridiculous when the flag today does not represent what it was first intended. The American flag is assumed to stand for freedom, for our constitution and for our Christian living with every man and family having a home, a farm and a living, free of oppressive taxes or religious interference. In plain English as it was written, the American flag means the republic that would guarantee our rights to worship God without control of government. We have gravitated away from the original or then 'true meaning' of the flag and we are now waving it in the face of our enemies. The flag is not Christian and waving it against our enemies is not Christian behavior. When we take up the flag, we are then waving an approval of the anti-law of God. Stop, look and listen, learn where we are and what we're doing to ourselves. Christian people do not approve of murder in the wound. You can call yourself a Christian but you're not Christian. We may be the most powerful nation on earth and so was Rome and Babylon. We can shoot off our rockets and hit poor innocent people but we are now a bankrupt nation precommitted to the UN and to NATO.

The Persian Gulf War and this war are wars for oil to enrich us, some of us that is, not to include the writer. The dollar has the devil's stamp on it. Only foolish people seek money.

We are a nation of gamblers. We are a government of thieves and robbers. Government today is in it for profit as city, county, state and federal. The waterworks is in it for profit as the sewer disposal is in it for a profit. Originally these services were provided at cost to the citizens but now they are provided at a profit. When Israel went to war, their flag, if they had one, meant that God fought their battle for them. We are separated from God.

I see no flags flown by Japanese-Americans, Mexican-Americans, blacks or others, why?
